Gardening, My New found love!

On a regular day when your so bored with social media and all that influencing happening, something good was being influenced on YouTube in a very informative video about gardening.

This was off topic for me but, I was curious and I couldn't stop watching. I was inspired and wanted to try my luck. After all, it was just an overripe tomato.
The link to that channel is here - Garden Up .

To my surprise, I assume   hope, I have a green thumb (they say this when you get lucky with gardening). I chose an overly ripe tomato and sliced it extremely thin so each seed was visible from the slice of the fruit (or vegetable).

I placed the slice in a pot filled with dry soil, covered it with more soil and watered it. I was confident that I'll be out of luck with gardening.

Two days later, I saw a sprout, the seed actually developed and grew into a weak sapling. I diligently checked the plant everyday and watered it. This routine was something new for me.

And, this made me more responsible and regular with my routine. I'd sometimes have a bad day at work or home still, I'd never miss a chance to check on my slender yet strong plant. One fine day, I saw buds which was promising.
Now, I have about 12 to 15 bloomed flowers and just today there was a fruit finally.

Surprise yourself, find a new hobby or interest. You might acquire new skills and improve your abilities.

Here are some pictures of my tomato plant.

These are some buds.

The flowers.

The last two pictures were taken at night with the help of a flash, hence the bright image. If you can spot the tiny tomato.

Hope you enjoyed reading. Until next time.
